A unique recycled silver dog tag necklace etched with the Vegvisir 'way finder' symbol that gives guidance and protection.
Choose from two chunky solid silver large sized dog tag necklaces, each one hand cut out, shaped and polished, then engraved with lucky travel runes and your own personal message on the front and back. A unique and unusual alternative to a traditional Saint Christopher which makes the perfect gift for someone going away.
These chunky 100% recycled silver dog tag pendants can also be engraved on the back. The dog tag is given a high polished finish.
Choose from two sizes, a large or extra-large.
Large dog tag measures 31mm x 18mm x 1.2mm thick and weighs approximately 6.2g in solid recycled silver
XL dog tag measures 37mm x 22mm x 1.4mm thick and measures approximately 9.3g in solid recycled sterling silver
Choose from a classic ball chain or a flat curb chain in a choice of weights and lengths.
Engraving is bespoke done so please be sure to check your font and spelling before completing your order as personalised pieces are not returnable. Engraving on the reverse side is optional and done for a nominal additional charge.

It’s always best to get your finger sized rather than measure from other rings due to varying ring thicknesses, existing rings might be mid-shaped and accuracy of measurement. We measure all our rings to middle line (centre, not leading edge) - if in doubt please contact us first.

Our silver chains come in lengths from 16 inches (short) to 26 inches (long). To help you choose the right size, we provide measurements in both inches and centimetres. Please note that while engraved jewellery is non-returnable, chain sizes can be exchanged. However, exchanges from outside the UK may be more complex and take longer.

Most orders are made and dispatched within 1–2 working days — often faster. Custom pieces requiring proof approval may take a little longer, and dispatch times can be slightly extended when we're away.

What are your necklaces made from?
Our silver necklaces are made with 925 sterling silver. Our solid gold items are crafted using solid 9ct yellow or 9ct rose gold.
Our gold plated pieces are gold plated in our workshop to order using sterling silver as a base and 18ct yellow or rose gold plate. All our precious metal jewellery is hallmarked in the UK, following the UK Assay Office requirements.
Our steel products are made with 316L steel and finished with a black powder coating.

The most popular chain length for women is 18-20", and for men it's 22-24" but it depends on the person, how large or small their neck is and how long they want to wear. it. We can happily exchange chain lengths if it's not right for you.
