Your custom location or street map as a one-of-a kind necklace, a treasured gift that keeps a special place close to your heart.
Your custom map necklace has a cool abstract look, each one is bespoke made based on your chosen address, city or co-ordinates. It could be where you grew up, where you met your partner, your first home together, the place you got married in, or just somewhere in the world where you left your heart.
A unique gift for someone going away travelling, or to university, with a subtle reminder of home they can wear wherever they go, or a reminder of that special place you met. Subtle, abstract, discreet - only they know what it means.
How We Create Your Street Map Necklace
Each map is made in solid silver and engraved to order, they take about 2-3 days tops to do (depending on if you want a proof or not).
The reverse side can be engraved with a personal message.
-Your street map or location is custom drawn to order from google maps. We crop it to fit the round pendant as nicely as possible.
-If you require a proof select this from the drop down list and add contact details; this may delay your order. We are happy to work with you to make improvements within reason before we do the engraving.
- Matte finish is brushed silver, polished is shiny polished, darkened is oxidised, however wide streets might not appear as dark as narrower streets.
- The simplified map is oriented True North and will contain surrounding roads.
- Each map will appear different to the next, so the finished look will depend on the location and the size of pendant you choose.
- If your location is close to the ocean we have created a stylised 'water' pattern - see images for examples.
- If you have ANY CONCERNS about how your map will look please request a proof as we cannot accept returns once your necklace is made.
What It's Made Of
Each pendant is 1mm thick solid sterling silver and measures 20mm across. This is the medium size of our Street Map necklaces -see our web shop for 15mm and 25mm versions.
Ball chain or curb chain necklaces measures 1.1mm thick and are all made from sterling silver.

It’s always best to get your finger sized rather than measure from other rings due to varying ring thicknesses, existing rings might be mid-shaped and accuracy of measurement. We measure all our rings to middle line (centre, not leading edge) - if in doubt please contact us first.

About Your Map Preview:
The online preview shows your selected location but is simplified. Your actual necklace will feature more detailed street layouts and buildings, without the gray tones shown in the preview. If you want a heart symbol on a specific location this won't show on the preview but will be on the proof we make for you.

Please provide the complete physical address for your map. This helps us correctly position your custom map and create your personalised gift card.
Production Timeline:
Standard street map necklaces are produced quickly. If you request a proof for approval, please note this will extend the production time, especially if multiple revisions are needed. To avoid delays, ensure your correct email address is included with your order.

Our silver chains come in lengths from 16 inches (short) to 26 inches (long). To help you choose the right size, we provide measurements in both inches and centimetres. Please note that while engraved jewellery is non-returnable, chain sizes can be exchanged. However, exchanges from outside the UK may be more complex and take longer.

Your jewellery will be made and dispatched within 1-2 working days (excluding custom pieces requiring proof approval). All jewellery orders are sent fully tracked.
UK delivery options: Tracked 48, Tracked 24, and Special Delivery. For express delivery, select Express Delivery (1-2 days) or Express Next Day (same-day dispatch, order by 11am Monday - Friday).
International orders: Royal Mail International Tracked, or you can choose DHL for a faster service (cost calculated at checkout)

Silver jewellery needs a little care to keep its shine. To prevent tarnishing, avoid contact with harsh chemicals like bleach, chlorine, perfumes, and lotions, and remove your pieces before swimming, showering, or exercising. Store silver in a dry place, ideally in an air-tight container, and gently polish it regularly with a soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and water or a specialised silver cleaner.
Remember, tarnish is natural, and regular wear can actually help keep it at bay, but proper storage and avoiding chemicals are essential for maintaining your silver's beauty.

Our silver necklaces are made with 925 sterling silver. Our solid gold items are crafted using solid 9ct yellow or 9ct rose gold.
Our gold plated pieces are gold plated in our workshop to order using sterling silver as a base and 18ct yellow or rose gold plate. All our precious metal jewellery is hallmarked in the UK, following the UK Assay Office requirements.
Our steel products are made with 316L steel and finished with a black powder coating.

The most popular chain length for women is 18-20", and for men it's 22-24" but it depends on the person, how large or small their neck is and how long they want to wear. it. We can happily exchange chain lengths if it's not right for you.
